We welcome you to this site of High Wycombe & District Cage Bird Society dedicated to keeping birds in the best condition. We are friends of all types of Bird Keepers, Exhibitors and Members of the public involved in Aviculture and Pet Birds.

From the "Chair"

I have taken over the Chairmanship of High Wycombe & District Cage Bird Society after the death of our very respected chairman Brian Hogg. Though I'm a very different man to Brian, I share the same vision for HW CBS in that we promote all the best aspects of bird keeping. All birds should be housed in the very best accommodation with plenty of fresh air, feed the very best food with clean water always available.

At our monthly meeting we will always encourage people to share there experience and knowledge with other fanciers. All our meetings are very friendly with lots of banter, were we always make new members feel welcome and wanted. So please come and enjoy all aspects of keeping of birds with us at High Wycombe & District Cage Bird Society.

Best wishes Ron Pearce (Chairman)

Our former Chairman of High Wycombe & District Cage Bird Society  stated that he liked  to promote all aspects of aviculture. Our birds rely on us for their happiness, fitness and reproducing capabilities. All birds should be left in clean well lit accomadation with plenty of fresh air. He promoted all these aspects and tried to help other bird keepers both members and non-members to achive these goals. When we have bred our birds we are then able to exhibit them to enable fanciers and lay people to admire their beauty, All birds must be made accustom to the specialist show cages so that they feel at home on the show bench. At our monthly meetings I did encourage people to share thier exsperance and knowledge with other fanciers. High Wycombe have monthly meetings which are very interesting with guest speakers, slide shows, young stock shows, quiz nights etc and the chance to meet with like minded people. So please go and enjoy the High Wycombe & District Cage Bird exsperiance.

                                                              Yours Brian Hogg
